CANANICA announces music scholarships

CANANICA would like to make official the granting of two music scholarships to Chango (16) and Greybin (12), residents of El Lagartillo. These young gents are already well on their way as members of local group Los Rusticos del Norte (which has toured extensively around the country), but they have never had the opportunity to formally study music.


Chango and Greybin will be travel each Saturday by bus to Esteli where they will be studying music theory, voice and various instruments with Sr. Ramon at the prestigious Escuela de Musica. It will cost $25 per month for each student, half of which pays tuition and half transportation. We are looking for sponsors for each student for any period of time...
